What wheels would you put on a Lexus IS300?

Well they won't let me on is300.net since I don't have a subscriber email account so I'm going to ask you guys for some opinions.

I have a charcoal IS300 and I want some shiny (not chrome) 19"s for it. I'd love to get something from HRE but don't have the $$$. So I;'m loking for somethig cheaper. I'm thinking maybe something from AXIS but don't know anything about their quality.

What would you guys suggest?

Thanks
JT

Do you own an s2000 or have you been just lost for 245 days (your s2ki age)

Anyways, you could try

Iforged.com wheels are made out of the same material as HRE, Kinesis or Fikse, they are three piece construction, light weight wheels. But they are cheaper, in addition you coud ask their distrubutor for a discount.

try Volk wheels, I would say something like the model Gt-7 or GT-U would look great on an is300

Or go to tirerack an see what they have for the is

Very sadly, I believe there are only a few company wheel that are worth buying as after market. Wheels like axis are ok by design, but quality are good as a spare wheel from a Kia.

Try BBS, OZ also, you might find something from those two of the biggest wheel companies on earth.

I have an S2000 also. I just think the IS needs wheels first.

I looked at iForged but I hear alot of negative comments about customer service from them, especially trying to GET the wheels from them.

Heve you seen Advan Kreuzers? There are a couple of styles and the gunmetal is shiny but not chrome. The Series V looks good in 19".

Check the web site here. We have numerous wheels that look great on the car. We have a salesman running the SSR GT1 that looks nice on the car.
Let me know if I can help.
Thank you

I've seen 18" GT1s on a red IS300...very clean and subtle.

I kinda like the look and price of the Speedline 2210s on Tire Racks site. How's the quality on Speedlines products? I hgeard of the but haven't heard anything about them.

Thanks

Oh yeah, anyone know any shops that carry ADVAN wheels?

dave22 07-17-2003 07:30 PM

Guys with Ferarris put Speedlines on their cars...good enough? :D

Gruupe-S in San Francisco sells Advan wheels but beware: They're expensive and you'll probably have to wait for them to float over from Japan.

Quality is top notch, though, and you get that JDM cred
