WHEEL FITMENT
Hey whatsup guys I know this has been talked about but sorta still confused so could anyone help me to clear this up I have a set of 18 x 8 and 18 x 9 +46 offset will I be able to fit these wheels on my s2k and also my s2k is lowered on tein s-tech springs
thanks guys |

i guess i wont be able to run the rims since there not really close to the correct offset, but my question if i was to run the setup that I had mention will I run into a lot of rubbin issue if i dont put more neg camber?
thanks |
Since you don't state what size of tires you plan to put on those rims, your question can't be answered.

You would have to be very narrow on the tires for the rear to even have a chance at fitting. The 18x9 would be better with a 55mm offset or higher.

oh sorry well i was hoping to put 225 40 on the front and 255 35 on the rear

You may also rub on those rears. The offset is just not big enough for such wide tires. Like Jim said, you need about 55 offset in front to be safe and about 65 offset in the rear. If you drive on a glass smooth surface all the time and not make hard turns, then you'd be fine. I don't know of many road surfaces or driving routes where you can do this. |
thanks, I know I need 55 and 65 offset but these wheel I have are the volk av3 and I would really like to run them, if I roll my fender and put my camber at -2.0 degrees on the rears and -1.0 degrees on the fronts would I decrease the chances of rubbing as much

Maybe, but I'm not going to stick my neck out and say for sure.
|
You will rub - 100% guaranteed.
I am running 18x 9.5 +55 -2.6 degree camber lowered on some stiff coilovers and rub a bit in the back. No way your proposed setup will work. Sorry. :hello: Dave - Happy New Year! |
