Default Wheel offset: Need help!

I can't seem to find any wheels with the right offset (55 front, 65 rear). How far from these specs
can one go without any problem and what does it do to handling, suspension and so on if not
having the right offset? By the way I'm looking at 17" wheels for my S.

I'm running )Z Superleggera rims:
18 x 7 front with +45mm offset and 225/40 tires
18 x 9 rear with +55mm offset and 255/35 tires.

An occasional rub in the front under EXTREME hard braking and turning at the same time; not enough to be a problem.
