Wheel question
 

Hi.
I've read the topic about wheels and altough i'm still a bit confused and probably be flamed i'm gonna ask anyway.
I can get a good deal on some roota's GTR wheels in 17x9 or 17x9.5 with a ET25.
Currently i'm running 17x8 front and 17x9 rear with 225 tires front and 245 rear.
My question is can i still maintain my front tire size with 9"?
And do you think it would need a lot of fender rolling to fit these wheels?
Anybody have some pics of this setup or similar bya ny chance?

A good deal on wheels that won't fit without major body modifications might not really be that good a deal...

The problem is that i can't find the look i want without major body mods.
Do you know any rim with a deep look that doesn't require extensive body mods?
I don't mind rolling the fender a bit just not buying new fenders :p

Work XD9 in 17 x 9.5 +44 has almost a 3" lip. Also available in 8.5 +42 front if you wanted a more conservative/staggered fitment but has a smaller lip.

you'll need a bit more than a roll for those.... unless you wanna run like 215s all around and even then...

With 17x10's a 245 tyre would be too streched out?

Btw i made a mistake i'm running 215\45 r17x8 front and 245\40\r17x9 rear and i'm not lowered.

The problem is the original offset is 55 front and 65 rear on the AP2. To run a 25mm offset you are pushing the wheels toward the fenders an extra 40mm or about 1 3/4". Add in a little more for the wider wheel and there is going to be issues. There are very few wheels that are going to have a lip for the S2K that will not require fender modification. The SSR Professor comes to mind.

I've been in contact with the owner\friends owner of the first s2000 in the link with the 5zigens. Very helpfull person btw can't thank him enough.
The wheel setup is 5zigen FN-01r 17x10 +35 with 255\40 all around.
What i'm thinkin is trying the 17x10 +35 with 245\40 rear (need opinion about running a 245 on 17x10's?) and 17x8 or 17x9 +35 215\45 in the front.
What do you think?
I know i'll need some fender rolling but do you think it will be too much?

You are referring to concave spokes, very hard to find in S2000 friendly sizes. You could probably make 9"/10" +35 fitment work with stretched tires, 215 front/245 rear. Personally I would prefer more tire but that is the only way to pull this off on a stock body. IMO you need a good drop and a lot of negative camber for this to look good but it can be done. You might need a slight flare in the rear, usually happens naturally when you roll the fenders. There is a low offset thread in the gallery, I would look there for more info.
