Default Wheel size help

Just got my 2000 AP1 S2K a couple of weeks ago. While wanting to preserve the stock wheels and put on new 17s, I need help with finding the proper setup.
I want to run OEM AP2 tires with the 17s, 215 at the front, and 245 at the back. I found the ENKEI PF01s are decent looking and with a big variety of sizes to choose from.

At the front, I'm thinking:
17x7 +48
17x7.5 +45
17x8 +50

At the back:
17x9 +60

Please let me know what is the best combination without any rubbing issues. The car is on stock height right now, but it will possibly be lowered a little bit (1inch-ish) with new coilovers. And it would be great if there's clearance for bigger brake calibers. Thanks!

Rears are good. All of those fronts are pretty close to each other so I’d maybe see if there is any info on which has more brake clearance. Once it’s lowered you’ll still want to keep an eye on the fronts for signs of rubbing the liner but again it should be ok if you are careful with driveways. Really not sure if there are brake options that’ll fit so you need to think about how important that is and if it is top of the list you may be better off just rolling the fenders and buying wheels that have the clearance for bigger brakes.

Thanks.
So basically if I want bigger brakes rolling the fenders is inevitable?

Pretty hard to find a wheel that fits under big brakes that is smaller than a 9.5". I didn't really look too hard under 9" though. The only 9" I found that would have fit my BBK is the TSW Interlagos which is now discontinued. I'm also basing that it would fit based on an ebay seller telling me it would with a template I sent him. Decent looking wheel but not great in looks and not super high quality. The Apex offerings are great and what I ended up buying. Their 9.5 and 10" fitments would fit my BBK with no spacer but the 9" would not and was not even close.

Enh width really doesn’t effect it that much. It’s more the face shape and offset that impact it. For example the 17x8 +45 rpf1 with the convex face has plenty of space for big brakes. Any of the concave face rpf1’s like the 17x9 +45 have no space for bigger brakes.

^ Yes, it's just that the S2k requires pretty specific (high) offsets compared to most vehicles. Most S2ks that track enough to require a BBK run a square setup with 9" or wider wheels. Therefore most wheels that are known to fit a S2k with BBK's are 9" or wider. There may be other, more narrow, wheels that fit BBK's but it's typically not well known because the audience of people that cares about BBK clearance is usually interested in 9" or larger.

A set of AP2 wheels (any of the three styles) will bolt right on and function perfectly. There were 17" Enkei wheels (probably PF01s) on my 2006 when I bought it years ago and they were the wrong offset and too narrow so I don't recommend them. Started looking for proper wheels immediately. Used or reconditioned or reproduction AP2 wheels are out there but ya gotta be patient. Full sets turn up here from time to time. They're turn-key -- go on with no concerns of mods.

Just need some patience. Shipping to Canada, though, may take some effort.
