Default Wheel Size Help for Volk Racing CE28SL

Hi all,

I'm looking to get a setup of Volk Racing CE28SL or similar for a AP2 which would not require me to roll my fenders. Currently looking at a setup of Front: 17x8.5 +45 and Rear: 17x9.0 +63 on Evasive Motorsports. Would this setup work? If so, what tires sizes would you recommend?

Enh the fronts are going to look more aggressive than the rears. Fronts will still need some fender work esp if lowered. 17x7.5 +48 would be a better choice in front though may still need the fender work if lowered. Then you could run either oem ap2 tire specs or the +1 size of 225/45/17 and 255/40/17.

Looking at what Evasive has on their website, would a setup of Front: 17x7.5 +48 and Rear: 17x9.0 +45 make more sense? Given that the offset for the rear would be relative to the wheels width and wouldn't create an awkward look of the fronts being more aggressive than the rears.

Sure but then your rolling all the fenders and relocating the rear tabs.

225+45 is theoretically similar outboard clearance to 255+60 that people run so should work with extra camber however I agree it is iffy. The stretch from the 8.5 might push it over the line. +48 offset will be easier.

This requires fender work.

17x7.5+48 F and 17x9+63 R will work at stock height. Fronts will likely need a roll and the fender tabs cut off if lowered.

If you want a trouble free size, mimic the stock sizes/offsets.

I would run 215/245 to ensure no need for a fender roll that little bit more.

Talked to Evasive, and I have an order for the 17x7.5. However, the 17x9 won't be available till March/April. Any recommendations for tires now that I have time to look around? Will be running what's suggested of 215/245 and mostly on the street with spirited driving on the weekends. Also, thank you all for your help so far in weaving through the wacky world of s2k offsets!
