Default Wheel spacers for the rear

Hey guys. I love the flush (or sortaflush) look of factory wheels with spacers. I'm lowered on Eibachs with about one finger gap in the front and 1.5 in the rear. Below are pics of how the car sits currently with a closeup of the rear. Since I'm already on the verge of rubbing in the front with 225s, I want to buy spacers for the rear only. I don't want to do any sort of fender mods and I know that limits how aggressive of a track I can run.

Tires are 245s in the rear and I'm running stock alignment. Initially, I thought of doing 15mm but since I eventually want to buy Direzza Star Specs in 255s, I'm thinking a more modest 10mm spacer may somewhat diminish the stock sunken fitment without jacking up my fenders. At my ride height and with unmolested fenders, do guys think I'm safe using a 10mm rear spacer with 245s and maybe 255s in the future?

If so, I need something with integrated studs that is easy to install and remove. I understand our rear center bore is 64.1mm and the only hub-centric 10mm spacers with integrated studs I've found are these FIC Racing pieces from Evasive for $185: http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/Merchant...FIC-XWP5110-64T

This is not an area I want to cheap out on so I want a quality spacer. The car is not tracked but is driven hard on the street. Please let me know if you think this is a recipe for fender problems and I'll piss my money away on something else equally dumb, like a front splitter. All input welcome!

Honestly, I rubbed slightly with 2.3 degrees of negative camber in the rear lowered on espelirs with 255/40/17 sumitomos on stock ap2 rear wheels. I put on a set of 15mm spacers and rubbed all over the place on turns. If you're not going to roll the rear fenders, I'd say you can't safely run spacers more thna 5mm, which would be worthelss.

put in some front camber so you dont have to rub in the front.

I've got a 15mm spacer in back on stock AP2 wheels (with a 1" drop) and it rubs pretty bad. I would probably estimate I could eliminate rubbing by dropping down to a 5mm spacer. I'll probably just take all of the spacers off before too long, though.

Curious about this. How does the stock CR not rub then?

i guess cause its not lowered on espelirs with -2 camber, if thats not the reason then its because my tires are actually bigger than a 255 (actual measured width) They are continental DWS 255/40-17.

Hmm so even with a inch drop, 255 will rub? Guess Im gonna stick with 215 front 245 rears.

i have a buddy who is slammed with a 9 up front and a 10.5 in the rear ( he does have fender work. but runs cheap advanced auto parts spacer for like 15 bucks each. i think a 8mm up fornt and 10mm in the rear. never has had a problem and no needed extended studs.

i would try that first. if you rub you can just throw them away. not a big lose.
