Which wheels to go with?
Which wheel should I go with?
TSW interlagos 17x9 +63 square ~17-18 lbs each Enkei rpf1 17x8 +45 front 17x9 +45 rear ~16 lbs each Wedsport sa-72r 17x10 +55 square ~20lbs each All clear the brakes I have, my car is Suzuka blue with rolled fenders and -2.5 degrees negative camber, looking to not poke or stick out tons but a little is okay. |
They are all decent options if they fit. I went with the Interlagos (and Nurburgring) due to brake fitment, though I still have to run a 3mm spacer. I really like the Interlagos and think they fit the car well. I use my Nurburgring as track wheels, which do not require the spacer for brake clearance... I think they look decent, but I like the Interlagos better.

If the fenders are rolled then option 2 or 3 is what I’d do. 17x10 all around with 255’s makes the steering pretty heavy but would be best for the track so depends how often that’ll be a factor.

Since you included the 17x10 +55 sa-72r, any reason why you're not cross shopping it against the 17x9.5 +47?
My vote goes to the SA-72R in either the 17x10 or 17x9.5 variety versus the other two options above. Also, what's your intended use? |
how about apex 17x10's?

If I were to buy track wheels now (which is what my car is - 90% track), I would get the Apex in 17x10 +48. I think that those are the best bank for buck wheels and the sweet spot for fender/A-arm/upper-wheel-well clearance and being BBK compatible. |
yup, i originally got the weds sa72r 17x10's b/c it was really the only option at the time. they're pretty heavy, i got the apex 17x10's after and they do have better a arm clearance and are noticeably lighter for not much more dollars. also im not a huge fan of how the sa72r's look, but they're pretty cheap i guess.
