Will this combo work?

First, I am lowered with Rsr Ti2000 springs approximately one inch. I would like to run some Volks sized 16x7 +46 in the front and 16x8 +38 in the rear. I'm pretty sure the fronts will be ok. After all, Spoons can be had in +45 in the front with no problems. What I am concerned about is the rear. Does anyone know if this low offset is workable? This is the highest offset available in the wheel I want.

Will these low offsets in the rear rub on the suspension or fenders? Will they stick out?

Please give supporting evidence to your opinions.

Thanks for the help.

Considering the fact that you are proposing going .5" wider in the rear and decreasing the offset ~ 27mm I believe you are headed for rubbing unless you run a ridiculously small tire. (I'm not 100% sure but I believe the stock offset was +65)

If my quickie calculations are correct your wheel will be 1.5 or so inches closer to the fender.

Short answer - don't do it.

Thanks. The wheels I like are the Volk Gram lights 57S. They are similar to the TE37, but have seven spokes and are cast instead of forged. According to Jeff from Evolution, that's the highest offset available in the rear.

Does anyone else have any experience or opinions on/with this setup?

You're not saying that Jeff is telling you this is going to fit are you?

If you like a 7-spoke - how about the SSR GT7?

No, Jeff did not say they would fit. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I asked for information on the Gram lights 57S in 16x7 and 16x8 as to what offsets were available in those sizes. Jeff told me those offsets are the highest available in those sizes and that they were not very compatible with the S 2000. It's a shame. Ever since I saw these in Option magazine about six months ago, I wanted them really bad.

As to the SSR's, I'll take a pass. They are just not to my liking. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Good Luck on the search... it is a drag having these weird offsets... :(

It won't fit in the rear. Not even close.
