Default Will my LM's Fit?

Hi Guys,

I'm a new member, dont have my S2000 yet but have bought some wheels for it to get refurbed and ready

I have a set of BBS LM's in the following sizes:

Fronts: 17x7.5 ET45

Rears 17x8.5 ET49

I want to fit the standard size tyres and the car will be an AP2 model. I plan on reverse mounting the faces of the wheels, my question is will i have to do any work to the body work to make these fit? Ideally I don't want to mess about with rolling or flaring the arches.

So will they fit or will i need to mount the faces as they come?

Thanks Lewis

Yeah they will fit. May not even need a fender roll depending on your ride height and camber.

Reverse mount lowers the offset 15mm, in which case you would most definitely need a fender roll. If your car is lowered, I would roll the fenders anyway as they will likely rub even as they are.

Don't reverse mount them. Those offsets are great.

Thanks for the help, I'm awaiting the wheels to arrive at the moment so I don't know what the faces currently look like.

I will get the rears rolled but what about the front? I would like to retain the arch liners and can only assume that if I roll the fronts the arch liners won't fit?

Also I here people talking about relocating the tab when rolling the rears? Could someone explain this to me lol?

Thanks

Lewis

Well i got my wheels and found out that they are 18's not 17's??? I don't know if this is better or worse as I wanted 17's really for the cost of tyres.

I will be running a 245/35/r18 back and a 215/40/r18 front does anyone know how much more i will have to roll the arches and whether or not i will have to roll the fronts? as i want to keep my front arch liners?

Thanks.

You shopuld just roll them to be safe. Read my thread for what to do with the front liners. You do not need to remove them..

Is there a particular reason you want to reverse mount the faces? As others have stated, the offsets in normal configuration are perfect and would not require any body work. With the reverse mounted setup, you'll need a roll both front and rear and more camber. Might even need a bit of pull up front.
