Default Will these fit?

Hey,

Will running a 17x8+49 and 17x9+49 set of wheels require fender rolling, and/or negative camber, and/or etc.? Will running these wheel sizes with 225s up front and 255s out back cause any problems?

*I did a search and got multiple different answers so I decided to start a thread.

Thanks in advance.

yes. You will have to roll and pull fenders and run some camber.

If your not lowered, or lowered only slightly those will work fine without modification. If you run 215 and 245 your definately ok. Even 225 & 245 respectively will be ok.

If your slammed you may have to roll the fenders

I would go 225/245 just to be on the safe side. You may get the very occasional rub in the front on a really hard dip, but other than that you'll be ok.

Or you could go 255 in the rear and run the UK spec alignment which should be ok

I added to that last post................your not running some crazy offsets or anything so you should be ok. If you do rub, you might just need to tweak a few things here and there and you'll be ok.

Oh, so your saying that if 225/255 doesn't fit perfectly, that running the UK Spec Alignment should fix the rubbing problem? I hear the UK Spec is better anyway.

I dont know where that other guy got his info, but he's wrong. I'm running 18x8 +56 225/40/18 front, 18x10 +68 285/30/18 rear with just rolled fenders in the rear. I'm dropped about 3/4 inch on Tein Flex's and I have no rubbing.

My last setup I had 18x8 +49 225/40/18 in the front dropped on Buddyclub N+'s and maybe rubbed once or twice on a really Hard dip.

The UK specs basically just run more camber.......PM me your email and I can send them to you.
