Work CR Kai

I am planning to buy this wheel (used) and the sizing is

17x8 +47
17x9 +44

My question is if its a good fit for a stock height S.

Also, if I was to buy a brand new one, what's the best sizing for a stock height S with no rolling or rubbing.

Need some wisdom and thanks in advance!

That was exactly the kind of information I was hoping to get with pictures as a bonus. So thanks! I do agree with it looking funny unless its lowered.. I just don't know anyone who can do fender rolls properly. Other than that I think this wheel aside from CE28s is what I really want to get for my S.

Would you (or anyone) happen to know if there's sizing (offsets) that would fit our S properly or rolling fenders is a must?

Thanks again!

Stock height youre all good but if you ever lower your car you will need to roll/trim your fenders. I know this for a fact cause I have 17x8+47 with 225 tires front and 17x9+38 rears with 245 also CR kais for the past 2 years. No rubbing at all unless you lower your car. Here is my car at stock height with the CR Kais as a reference Looks a little funny at stock height lol but will dohttps://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g...7/DSCN0745.jpgMuch better when lowered but needed to trim the fendershttps://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g...ps8278146a.jpg

Hi,

I was looking at getting this set up too, how low did you drop your car by? I was looking at lowering my car slightly, maybe 15-20mm but don't like the thought of having to get my fenders rolled. Was it just the rear that is a problem or did you have to roll the fronts too.

I was looking at the 17x7 and 17x8 +47 but was unsure of the 245 tyre on the 8 inch rim.

What tyre size did you use on your setup? I've been looking at tyre comparison sites and think 255/40 for rear and 225/45 front seems to be a good matchup but again it's slightly bigger than standard :/

Cheers

Kristian

Nice one thank you, your car looks awesome :) Did you need to change many suspension components as well as the springs or was it all body work?
