Default Work VS center cap removal

This may seem like a stupid question, but I thought I'd ask anyway: How do I remove the center cap? I don't see and indentation for a tool, the the center cap just spins. I tried to pop it from the back of the rim, to no avail. Do I need a special tool? I don't want to damage the finish on the wheel as much as possible. Thanks in advance.

the center hexagon (with the w) will spin off by hand then you can just take the rest out without having to do anything
