yokohama a048 for daily driving?

Default yokohama a048 for daily driving?

i daily drive my car but want some track tires. i live in socal so i dont care about the wet.

how long would these last?

i have rt615 right now and used them up for about 15k miles. if these yokohama last for awhile ill by them.

they will NOT last longer than the rt615s, if you daily drive your car, i would not get them...

rt615 = street tire. a048 = r compound. no comparison.

I would guess 3k. 5k tops.

ofcourse they are not going to last longer than the rt615 but i was hoping for maybe 10k.

wanted some input from somone who actually used the tires.

probably around 5000-7000 miles. i had these on the exige, just and it was fun in the rain

the tires will probably last about 5k miles. I had those on the evo and thats how long it lasted. it also depends on your driving. I took the evo alot to the mountains and the track so that affects tire life significantly. the S is lighter than the evo but heavier than the elise so you can base the milleage on both those cars
