So are their street tires (AD08R).
I am curious to hear reviews. A streetable track tire sounds like a great idea. I like the ease and convenience of mounting my track tires before an event, and driving to the track with them. Looks dangerous in the event of rain when driving to or from the track. They would have to be phenomenal for me to consider moving away from RE71R from a price perspective.

Yeah, for the money your better bet are RE71s, unless 2/10th of a second is worth a few hundred dollars to you.

I think the 200TW could be accurate. I run AD08Rs and they are rated at 200TW and these show the same specs as the A052 however the AD08R is classed as a road tyre for "supercars" on the japanese advan site whilst the A052 is listed as "motorsports"
The AD08R is a great trackable street tyre. I've already clock over 15000KMs and about 12 track days. I have just rotated and my rears were about 3/4s done and the fronts were about 1/2 done. They should last me the rest of the year and hopefully another 5 or so track days.
Very consistent tyre.
You have to be cautious in the wet. If you drive like a normal person they will be fine. I did experience hydroplaning on freeways during heavy rain travelling at about 100~120km/h.
(The Australian market doesn't have access to the RE71s) Most track guys run with RS3s or the AD08Rs here as a dual purpose tyre.
