Question 17x10 +38 w/ ASM over fender?

I've been able to find pictures but no real information about this spec with the flares. I've read that people can squeeze a 255/40 back there on a rolled/pulled body with lots of camber. But I have over fenders. Can I get away with this wheel spec running a 255 or larger? I've considered a 17x9.5 in the +40 range because I feel like its a little more on the safe side. I've read through the "wide body" forums and have found very little useful information.

Thanks in advance. Sorry if its a tedious question.

I have 17x10 +40 with 255/40 and -2.0 camber under ASM rear flares and I think it fits perfectly.

Not the exact spec youre asking but heres a 18 x 10 +35 with a 255/35/18 and -3 degrees. I am currently running 17 x 9.5 +25 with 255/40/17

So, by these specs.. I should be able to run a 17 with the same offset with less camber.. Correct?

I run a voltex rear overfender but both the voltex and ASM rear overfenders add +25mm. I was able to fit 18x10+40 with 285's on them. I have -2.8 camber in the rear

Sorry, 1 of the picture is kind of blurry.

I don't think I would be able to get away with that on a stock front end.. I'm really trying to stick to 17s for now. That is an awesome fitment though. I'd like to run as wide of a tire as possible in the back.

you could fit a 17x10 +38 with a tad bit less camber. Depends how low your car is too. If youre at a decent height, you can get away with less camber.

(Huge picture, sorry.) This was with a 17x9 +30 255/40 rear and a 17x8 +32 225/45 front. I was really close to factory alignment, but I still scrubbed on bumps and in hard turns. I've since sold the Works, and I'm looking to run a more track oriented wheel. Considering the Advan RS-D... 17x9 +35 17x8 +45. Just really unsure of the rear wheel fitment because I would really prefer to run a 9.5 or a 10 to support a wider tire.. I'm on fortune auto 500 series coil-overs so I can adjust the height as needed..

Here is 17x10 +45 square set up on 255s all around. ASM rear overfenders and downforce Front Fenders.
