18's+stock suspension= 4x4?
These are the wheels in Question:
http://www.vadriven.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157632
I saw them on the silver Comptech car back in the day but I dont think the rear had as much of a lip as these do. I'm still not sure about fitment either:
They measure 18x8.5 fronts and 18x10 rears. +50 front offset. +42 rear
Those are some wide ass wheels!
So aside from the issue of them physically fitting... what will it look like on stock suspension? Even Comptech said that as soon as you lower an S2K the handling goes to hell...
So some input would be appretiated....

Hey man, I doubt those would fit. The rear would not be fun at all... any wheel that fits any of the cars mentioned in that thread is not for us. they can all take mid to low offset wheels, and we need wheels that have extremely high offsets. You would not be able to drive around at all. I am not being conservative, just I would not suggest it.

Oh yes, to answer the other question, I think it all depends on you. I think any S with aftermarket 17s on stock suspension looks like an all terrain vehicle. A car with 18s on stock suspension doesn't look that bad, but it could always use a slight drop.

Searching/ reading the FAQs ownz me...
These wheels are a no go: the recommended offest for the rear is upwards of +60 for a 10" wide wheel. +42 is no where close... The offest on the fronts is even too shallow. Oh well...
thanks for the reply though
