Default 18" wheel offset question

Wheel experts,
I am interested in purchasing a set of wheels with the following specifications:
18 x 8 +52
18 x 9.5 +53

I was wondering if these will work without affecting the turning radius and rubbing issues.

The tire choices are f215 40r18/ r255 35r18.

Thanks in advance

Thanks gotswap. Just tried the calculator and it looks the rear would be really tight.

BTW, nice wheels. Just curious what are your wheel specs?

You could make the 255/35R18 work but you would be better with the 245/35R18.

18x7.5 +45 w/225's
18x9 +51 w/255

They rubbed in the rear under very hard cornering.

Thanks Jim and gotswap for the feedback.

So the offsets for the front and back sould be fine with the tire recommendations: 215/245?

My S2K is lowered 1.25" all around.

I used the "calculator" and the rears will be pushed out almost an inch.

For the front, I just want to make sure they will clear without issues (+52 offset on 8").

I just wanted to get as much experienced feedback before purchasing the wheels.

Don't want to make the mistake again of running bad offsets.

Thanks!

My friend has 18X8 +50 with 225/40/18 and 18X9.5 +55 with 255/35/18. These are the same size tires recommended on Tire Rack for the wheels in these offsets, also on Tire Rack.

My rear 9.5s came with a 73mm offset. I would personally look for a higher offset, although a lot of folks seem to have no issues. Looks and fits pretty nice, no rubbing with 265s.
