Default 245 tire on a 8.5" rim

I'm wondering if a 245 tire will look too big on a 17" 8.5" wide rim.
Is anyone running this size?

245 on a 8.5 is just fine. You can go up to 265 on an 8.5 and be plenty safe, assuming your offsets and sidewalls all allow fitment.

The 235 is going to be off on height though.

265 really? My rim is +33 on the rears. I was thinking of getting these tires for the rears

I'm trying to get the biggest tire to fit on the rears as I will be running a lot of boost and will need the traction
My fronts are 215 would that play a role with 265 rears?

Wide tire doesn't really go with that offset...will probably need overfenders for a 265.
