All excellent info. I was planning on running TL-S brembos with stock s2k rotors. Not sure if the caliper is thicker than the stoptech one.

The weight savings with TC105N... if the calipers fit that is, is worth every penny.

A 17x8 +48 Ultraleggera is half a pound lighter than a 17x8 +49 TC105N.

Per Evasive the 17x8+49 TC105N is 14.9 lbs. Per Tire Rack the 17x8+40 Ultraleggera is 17.6 lbs. It's not the +48 wheel, but the +48 wheel should be only marginally lighter with 8mm less material in the hub length. The Alleggerita in 17x7.5+48 is 15.4 lbs per Tire Rack, perhaps you were thinking of that?

Per the thread linked below, the TL-S caliper requires an additional 5mm spacer even with the 17x9+49 size TC105N.

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-mo...ances-1169517/

So it appears that the TL-S caliper is actually wider than the Stoptech ST40 caliper as the the 17x9+49 TC105N actually doesn't need spacers to clear the Stoptechs. And from what I've read, because the TL-S caliper only uses stock rotor sizes you will only get marginal performance benefit at best. The Stoptechs with larger rotors on the other hand should provide improved heat capacity and cooling. It seems like you need the +30 something offset for 17x8 TC105N to clear bbk.

Interesting, I came up with 18.2lb for the TC105N in that size and offset. I'd guess Evasive is more accurate, so I am wrong.

I recommend checking with the manufacturer other than any other source prior to posting.

Wheel Info:
WedsSport TC105N
Wheel Weight:

17x8 = 6.75KG is 14.8LB (all offsets)
17x9 = 7.15KG is 15.8LB (all offsets)

I really like the TC105Ns the best, if I could get away with a mild roll on the front fenders and be able to run 255 square on +49 offset I'd be happy. I'll have to do some more reading to see. I understand the unfortunate truths that most wheels need rolling on an s2000 but I'm trying my best to avoid that.

Some day companies will figure out that storing data in a PDF is a pretty shitty idea since they aren't generally indexed with respect to context (depending on format of data within). Ducati also needs to learn this. Then again, I am making money off this problem.

Thanks for all of the recommendations in this thread. Ordered a set of 17x9 +63 square RZIIs in racing bronze. Take 3-4 months to get here but I’m sure I’ll be happy with them.

Great choice. I think black lugs will finish it off nicely.
