ASM Fenders + Fender Liners?

Long story short, I have a tucked passenger side harness that runs along the side of the frame. Its all taped up and organized, but don't want to risk having the tire rub a wire without a fender liner.

Any ideas of how to keep the fender liner with ASM fenders? Was thinking of 3D printing some small tabs (similiar to OEM metal fenders) and JB Welding them to the inner lip so the fender liner can sit on it. Any other ideas are welcome to those who have tucked their harness. Thanks in advance.

Well, you can easily use OEM liners with wide fenders. The OEM liners keep their shape even with the outside edge shaved off, many of us have done this, including myself. The downside is that there is an open void between the cut fender liner and the fender lip.

Also, I believe ASM used to make fiberglass liner extensions, where you would partially cut your liners and use their extensions to fill the gap. You can try googling them for pics.

But based on your concerns of rubbing, if your wire harness is within rubbing range of your tires, then the fender liner will only delay the inevitable as the liner will rub first, then your harness. If your harness is within the danger zone, then seems like the best thing to do would be to move it more out of the way. If you're just worried about moisture and debris, then yes a liner would help. But liner won't help with rubbing issues as tires will rub right through them anyway.

Yup what he said. The OEM liners stay in place with the ASM and downforce fenders. For ones like J's and Spoon I think more of the liner has to be cut due to the how the fender cuts in on these. Also worth noting if your tire was able to rub those wires you'd likely have bigger issues given where the tire and wheel would have to be in order to rub there. If it is fine now then wider fenders won't change that.
