so basically the struts and braces are useless. so im guessing its nothing more the JDM bling? Would you guys suggest the t1r Coils? just lookin for an aggressive Stret Setup. Also with the 225/45 and the 255/40 tire setup what is the best wheel alignement setup up.. Is stock fine? ur advice would help guys..

US or UK alignment will be fine or most anything in between unless you're looking to change something about the way the car handles. I'm running the Advan Neovas with the UK specs.

Would 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 be a larger diameter that the stock '06 rims/tires?

Depends on the brand of tire, check the diameter on Tire Rack's site. Any increase in rear tire diameter will bog down the acceleration of the S2000 because our torque is so low.

Basically, the RE050 is designed specifically for the S2000 and is very close to perfect balance for the street.

Not to get off topic but I dont really think this tire was made only b/c of the s2000.

surprised no one mentioned rt615. feels better than re050, almost equal to neovas at a bunch less money.

It is common for tire manufacturers to develop tires specifically for one vehicle. Bridgestone worked with Honda to develop and tune the tire for the needs of the S2000 on the original S-02 and the newer RE050 tires. They both carry "Honda" in the specifications, and the sizes didn't exist in their line-up until released for the S2000.
