I am wanting to know if I run a square setup with 949 racing's 6ul wheels in 17x9 +55 will I be able to fit 255 tires all the way around without any rubbing issues in the front. I am on stock suspension right now, but I do plan on going a little lower once I get coilovers and I plan on adding as much camber as the stock ball joints allow most likely. I do plan on taking this car to the track 5 or 6 times a year. My other idea was if the square setup was to much trouble if I could fit a 225 tire on a 17x8 + 48 in the front without rubbing and then for the back still run the 255 tire on the 17x9. Again all rims I would be using would be the 949 racing 6UL. I've done a lot of searches and seen all kinds of answers. So I would appreciate some input thank you!

I asked a similar question not too long ago but with ce28s in 17x9 +54. With either a 245 or 255 you should be ok for the most part at stock height. You may or may not rub the fenders but it would be best to roll them. Especially if you're planning on lowering the car.

Roll them before you regret it.

When you lower it the fronts will be at much higher risk of being a problem.

Ride height has an impact here. But if you know your going to be lowering the car in the future, roll the fronts as echoed by previous posters. Many of us have learned the hard way. There is no return from catching the front fender, its really not fixable with out great cost/lengths at a body shop.
