very tru buddy. I know this from first hand experience. The Nfera tire is as good or even better that the rs3 now.

The RE71R was released in 2015 so its not that old of a tire. So do you mean that when you say years ago?

Guys also the honkook RS4 was just released - so will be interesting to get feedback on them as well as the new Toyo R888R.
If you want cost effective performance i would go with the following wheels:

If you DONT want to modify(roll/pull relocate tab) your fenders: TSW Interlagos in 17x9 +63 <-you can run this as a square setup at all four corners with 245 or 255 street tires:




If you DO want to mod your fenders: Enkei RPF1 in 17x9 +45. I still run the same size tires but these are lighter, gave me a wider track and gave me more brake duct clearance on the inside of the wheel wells between the wheels and the body/frame of the car(also note both photos are on the same stock suspension with the CR springs):
