u have to watch out tho. bigger tires means your car will be faster. so dont vtec until tires are broken in. one of our guys here didnt know that and vtek kicked in and well.....
I can't decide. Is this guy serious?

This is one of the most absurd things I've ever heard. The tires will not make your car faster. They are 10mm wider, and will give you a tiny bit more traction which will affect handling a little but will have little if any impact on acceleration since the S2000 doesn't really have an issue with getting traction while accelerating. Expect all tires to be a little bit greasy until they have been heat cycled a few times.

Yep...had some on my car until last year when I switched to the 255/215 CR set-up.

First day on the internet?

Threadstarter - keep in mind actual tire width varies based on manufacturer. For example, stock Potenzas on an AP1 are 225s, but they are the size of most 245s (iirc).

Edit: Tire rack, and most other vendors, have the actual specs on their site. Also can be found in S2ki's wheel & tire subforum.

Nope, but if you look through some of this guys other posts you'll quickly realize that either he is a troll or not that sharp. Sarcasm isn't always evident in type.
