Default Conversion Washer - 45 to 60 degrees

Hey Guys,

I'm sure many of you already know this but...

OEM wheels have a 45 degree seat angle where as aftermarket lug nuts have a 60 degree seat angle.

To have the lugnuts sit properly is it best to use a conversion washer.

be safe!!

I think/thought the OEM wheels have spherical seats, no?

In any case, it would be far better to get the right lug nuts, NOT to use a "conversion washer" (which loses you thread engagement)!

I would agree. Get lugs that fit correctly.

Tuner lugs on OEM wheels is a weird look. Buy CR lugs if chrome isn't your thing. I love mine.

I would question how well these stay tight over time. You can buy colored ball-seat lugs for OEM wheels. Far safer just to use those.

Also not all aftermarket lugs will be the same. The wheels we sell come with new lugs and they are all different depending on lenght and seat.
