Wheels and tires are going on tomorrow.
Just for clarification i'm going to be running TE37 in 17x9.5 +41wrapped in the Dunlop Direzza Z3 245/40/17. I'll take some pictures from side, front and back to give an idea on how the tires look on my specific setup for those interested.

Alright so heres a small review of the Dunlop Direzza Z3.
As far as the original question of do they run wide. I'm actually going to have to say no. I'm running 245/40/17 on a 17x9.5 wheel and you can see a decent amount of stretch. If you compare this to my BRZ in the last pic, that car was running a 235/40/17 tire on a 17x9 wheel.
Now as far as how the tire performs. I quite like this tire. its pretty noisy, but id expect that from any EPS tire. Sidewall seems pretty stiff compared to what ive run in the past (Sumitomo HTR Z3, Michelin PSS, Hankook RS4). Taking turns the car doesnt seem to dip into the ground as much as before. Which makes sense as the OP put all seasons on the stock tires. Surprisingly comfy ride considering this is such a high performance tire. Havnt had a chance to really work the tires however there are still less than 200 miles on them and i generally like to wait till around the 500 mile mark to make sure any coating has sufficiently been worn off. All in all a really good tire for this car and it just seems to accentuate the grippy hardcore handeling nature of this car.
