guys i plan on buying a set enkei rpf1s within a few monthes and i was wondering how they would fit.

front: 17x7.5 +48 235/45/17 or 225/45/17
rear: 17x9.0 +45 265/40/17 or 255/40/17

I am currently dropped on T1R coilovers with 10k swift srpings. i plan on raising my car so it is only a 1 inch drop all around. the alignment setttings will be stock. so the question is will i rub running 235's and 265's. if i roll my fenders will it clear the tires? if that won't work how about the 225's and 255's?

Dropped those are going to be a problem and stick out like daytons

you will not work with a 255 or 265 in the rear. i was dropped and was running a 235 on that same offset and it was clearing with non rolled fenders. you can run a 245 with rolled fenders. in the front i would just stay with a 215 or maybe a 225 but you may rub if dropped too low.

what i really want is a set of wheels with the same specs as the oem ap2 wheels but lighter. then i can run 225 and 255, right/

here is a 17x9 + 45. as you can see i am barely clearing the fender with a 235.

what is the point of having wider wheels if you cannot run wider tires?

haha well they make the enkei's in a more conserative offset if you wanted to throw a 255 on it. PM



theres the enkeis with the 9+45

they make a set that you can run those tire sizes with no rubbing issues.

i've been checking all over too and pm'ed a bunch of memebers (thanks for the reply), but for those offsets, there is not way that it would clear w/o rolled fenders. sucks, i know........x9's is the way to go, but damn the offsets suck!
