Probably not relevant but I saw them on a s2000 at global time attack... It had crashed...
This made me LOL. Glad I went with Maxxis instead of Federal so Tony didn't had crashed. To be honest the owner of the crashed S2000 did kind of imply that he blamed the Federals. Federal is the sole tire sponsor of Global Time Attack. I have heard from a few buddies that they do work. I would never run them personally. They are hard to find and cheap are the two things I will say about them.
Some thin spoke Forgestars wrapped in Federal rubber would be a glorious setup.

Decent tires for the money, but the RS3, NT05, RT615K, AD08, RE-11 and the Z2 Star Spec are all better.

I think everyone here might be confused. I think OP is talking about the brand new Federal 595 RS-RR. It is a 200 TW tire. Just got a set mounted this week and I have heard good things from the people that run them. Curious if anyone has experience with these.

What size did you get? I've been tempted by these but I heard they run fairly large and there's no 245/40/17. Curious the 255 fits on a 9in wheel.

I got 225F/255R. Can't comment on size as I haven't even tried measuring them and I'm running OEM CR wheels so I have high offsets. Only have a hundred street miles on the tires or so I can't comment on how effective they are but will be hitting the track in a month or two.

Having run the previous RS-R's, I know they run wide. I've fit the 255/40/r17 on an Ap2v2 wheel no problem, and know plenty of others run it on 17x9 RPF1's in Socal. No info on the RS-RR's as my RS-R's still have plenty of life.

I personally couldn't tell a difference between RSR and RS-RR in street driving. However, I only run the RR on the rear of my AP2's. Fronts are RSR's and have good life left

How loud are these tires for driving on the street?
