2003 stock height/suspension with no rolling and it's staying that way so:

I'm going with Work CR Ultimate:

Front:
1. Wound you run 17x7+47 or 17x8+47 with a 225/45/17 tire and would either rub? (Both have the semi concave look)

Rear:
2. Would you run 17x8+47 with a 245/40/17 or a 255/40/17 tire and would either rub? (Both semi concave look also)

3. I'm sticking with a 225/45/17 front tire so Which tire stagger and rim sizes/combo would work best?

personally i would run 17x8 +47 all around with 255 tires. I recently installed 17x8.5 +40 with 255 tires all around on my stock height ap2 (rolled front and rear fender) and does not rub whatsoever.

Your best option is 7" 215/45 front and 8" 245/40 rear. IMO 255 is too wide on a 8" wheel for optimal performance. That leaves you with 245/40 rear and I'm not a fan of a pairing that with a 225/45 front which will be slightly taller than the rear, so I'd go with 215/45 front.

Honestly at stock height you aren't going to find anything that looks better than OEM AP2 wheels. My real opinion is get 8" +47 front with 225/45 and 9" +44 rear with 255/40, lower the car at least 1", and roll your fenders. Otherwise just save your money and pick up some nice AP2 wheels that are a better offset for stock height and come in 8.5" rear which you could squeeze a 255 on.

Totally agree w/ 1nate7, 17x7 +47 17x8 +47 with 215/45-17 245/40-17. Or you could be a little more adventurous (and money-squandering) and go 17x8 +47 fronts and 18x8.5 +45 rears with 225/45-17 and 255/35-18 and some camber, which *should* clear without a roll. Or (agreeing w/ 1nate7 again) AP2 wheels, which should be a whole lot less $$$$...

OR, best option if you ask me, go with Enkei PF01 17x8 +50 front, PF01-SS 17x9 +60 rears (Tire Rack calls both front and rear "PF01", but the rears are actually the SS version with the lip). Similar 10-spoke style to the CR Ultimates, with better offsets and wider rears better suited for 255/40-17 tires.

Why only 8 inch in the rear? That's narrower than oem AP2 rear. A 255 is way to big for that wheel. I do not understand this recent trend of narrower than OEM AP2 wheels. If you do not want to roll the fenders you need to find wheels with a higher offset and wider or at least the same specs as AP2's.

I agree with the feedback in this thread. Just save your money OP, until a better package comes along. Its a compromised set up and its not going to look that good. Not worth spending the money.

Good choice. There's a set in the Racing and Competition classifieds for $900 FYI.

Great advice from all thanks!

My problem is that I don't like that "Big Lip" look of the PF-01's.
It looks to me as if the wheel is sunk into the car.

So, I'm going limit my choices to the following:

1. Work Ultimate's 17x7,215/45 in front, and 17x8, 245/40 in back.

OR

2. Find some AP2 rims and use 225/45 in front, 255/40 rear.

I leaning option 2 (AP2/V3 grey if I can find some)

AP2's because you get a wider wheel in the rear which provides the bigger benefit. Plus they should be significantly cheaper.

Makes a lot of sense including saving some $$$!
Besides here, where is the best place to find a variety of AP2 wheels?
