Guess you have never seen many rolled fenders up close. Hard pressed to have them not look wavy afterword. It would bug me. Cutting them is really the best way to get around this, or not do them at all unless absolutely needed. Not needed in OP case with current tire choice. May want to run different wider tire in future though.

Well looked on google and if this helps anybody out that's good. I googled 17x9 with Michelin pilot super sports. Added some pictures. To me they don't look bad at all. The thing is with the pss is the lip protector and it makes look worse than it really is

You haven't talked to enough people. I have met several that regret rolling their fenders or buying a car with rolled fenders. Most of the regrets had nothing to do with bad work, most were due to the change in body line.

Yeah it can vary a lot depending on who does it and how good a job they do and even then every car is different and you never know if there will be issues with the paint. If you know what you are looking for even on a good job there is usually a slight difference. Now if you take a hammer to your fenders or some other "method" a few I have heard of are baseball bat, phone books, metal pipe, etc then yes it is very noticeable.

That being said I rather have a very slight visual indication that they have been rolled that most people probably won't notice than hearing it rub or having a tire grab a front fender which is very easy to see.

If I rub with these tires and a good alignment I'll just have a professional roll my fenders. I know about the fender bolt in the front so I'll deff keep an eye on it.

Let us know how how you like the wheels when they come in. I'm for sure getting the TC105N's, but I'm torn between the 17x8 in the front or 17x9 all around.

Ok so got my wheels in and had them mounted. I absolutely love them. THe fit ,finish and the weight of them. The First thing I noticed is that these wheels are notciably lighter than my stock ap2v3s. The rears are close to 7 pound difference each with the tires on my stock ap2v3 being close to 3/32.

I was worried that the r40 conix lug nuts would look weird since the rear would be inside the wheel and the fronts would stick out but the fronts don't stick out much at all and look great.

I readjusted my ride height since the pic taken and knock on wood no scraping or touching in the front or back. I took some rough roads I knew of to test it out and some curvy roads.

Looks great! So just to be clear, you went with a 245/40/17 PSS in the rear and no roll was needed, correct?
