How much are CR rims worth?
I'm looking for the S2000 CR rims for its clean design and color, but I'm not sure how much I should be expecting to pay for a decent set. I found a set on Craigslist for $1500 with bad tires, is this a good deal? I've searched and read that new sets went for $2,000 plus shipping with HTG and the dealer and the likes. I searched on a few OEM parts websites and haven't had any luck so I assume these are no longer in production.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I saw that CL ad for 1500. I tried to contact them and I had no reply. CR rims are pretty pricey. We just have to keep searching for a used set if you want to save some money

Ah I was getting excited imagining those rims on my RYP AP2. oh well. So $1500 is a decent price?

Depending on the condition ( curb rash, scratches) that might be a good price, I've seen pristine sets bring slightly higher with worn tires. And you are correct these wheels are no longer made.

Personally I think they are overpriced for an OEM wheel considering there is no difference other than color compared to the regular AP2v3 but like others have said it's a supply and demand thing that lets people get good money for them.
To my comment above, I think even regular AP2 wheels are generally overpriced, not just CR wheels.

Sometimes you get lucky...
Not CR rims, but AP2V3. I got mine with good tires off Craigslist for $425. When I replaced the tires, I got $85 for the TPMS sensors, bringing the total to $340.

I have seen them for $800-$1200 without tires. I was in the market for them about a year ago, but I felt they werent worth more then $800-900 without tires.
I picked up a used set of SSR Comp 18" wheels, which are lighter by about 14 lbs total. And I got them for a better deal.

What is the wheel weight for the AP2v3/CR wheels? Are these more desirable than the AP2v1 and AP2v2 wheels? What are the differences in the AP2v1 and AP2v2 wheels?
