Lowest offset wheel to fit on rolled rear

Lowest offset wheel to fit on rolled rear
Consider this:
I am thinking of trying a non stagerd setup for next season.
My front fenders are 40mm wider on each side then stock so I have lots of room up there.
I am planning to roll my rear fenders.
Questions:
If I were using a 17x9 wheel and a 255 tire, what would be the lowest offset I would be able to fit?
If I were using a 17x8.5 wheel with a 245 tire, what would be the lowest offset I would be able to fit?

17x9+40 would be about the limit. IIRC evasive runs that on their s2k, the white one.
amuse runs it too on their orange car. 17x9+63f, 17x9+40 rear.
diez runs 17x9.5+47. looks mean as hell. 255 tire also.
that will take more than a roll tho, will take relocating the bumper bracket, roll, and camber.

With one of my customers/buddy's car, we did a 17x9.5, 17x8.5 +40 all around. One of the most controversial wheel threads there were on this site, and we did it. Very Sexy as hell. Rolled fenders, relocated bumper tap, 245/215 stretch and slight negative camber. Works like a charm
EDIT: 255/215
