Default LUG Nuts

I was looking into the hex key style lug nuts. Because theres less contact with the wheel when tighting them.
ARe these just as good as the socket style?
Any recomendations?
thx

The seat has nothing to do with the head style. You can find splined, hex and standard hexagonal heads with 2 different types of seats - ball/sperical and tapered/conical. The seat must match the rim. The head design is mostly a matter of preference, but some standard hex head nuts will not allow socket access in narrow diameter bores on some rims.

DO NOT use the nut pictured above with OEM rims. Honda uses a ball seat for their lug nuts. The one pictured above has a tapered seat, and while it will work with many types of aftermarket rims for the S2000, it will not seat properly on OEM rims.
