Default Machine Recessed Hub CR Rims?

I had spacers on my AP2V1 and would love to get same look with my CR wheels. These have flat hubs with no recessed areas for studs unless I went with a 25+mm spacer which I don't want. Has anybody machines recessed areas into rims to suit spacers?
I'm going to have a CNC Machine shop give me their opinion as well.
I was running 15F 17R on my AP2V1s.

Thanks
Evan

It may be easier to run extended studs and then the spacer on that. You may also search the CR forum and see what those guys have done.

Well I figured this was proper section to post the question. The AP2v3 wheels are the same as well. Waiting for call back from machine shop.
