I have a real hard time believing they had more grip than re-11s, but old tire vs new tire they just might

What's your caster set to?
I have no idea what that means
What are your alignment specs...a pic of the sheet would help.

anyway I went back to the dealer and they agreed to swap out the pss for RE11 plus a little more money. so far I like the RE11 alot better. The steering is extremely responsive, body roll is also less. road noise is about the same. and I think the RE11 looks better because of the square wall, Making it sit flush with the rim. On the pss the side wall is kinda round, thus making the rear tire look a size smaller. anyway I am glad the dealer let me switch.
The only way tires effect body roll is through lateral grip. The higher the grip, the more body roll.

August issue of Car and Driver Magazine indicating the Michelin Pilot Super Sport is the best tire for Monster grip.

Haven't seen the issue yet, I'll look at it on the stands tomorrow. But what is "Monster grip"?

I run a square 275 PSS setup on my '11 Mustang GT and it's got some monster grip. Currently deciding on wheels for the S2000 and I'll be running PSS on it as well.

Holy shit your front toe was way off...I bet the inside of the fronts were showing wire! And I bet it was pulling to the right.

They gave you stock settings, but a little bit more rear toe in than I would like...I'd stay somewhere around .15-.2 in the rear. Caster looks fine, camber is stock.

Spec you should request? Not really, it all depends on you. How does the car handle now? What's it's behavior in the corners with you driving at speed?

Also wanted to chime in here. Been running the PSS (215/245 setup), with OE alignment and suspension specs, for a couple months now. During break-in they felt like driving on marshmallows, maybe for the first 300-400 miles. The smooth angled edge, rather than a squared off edge on the tread may have also contributed to this.

Once they settled in, I had the opportunity to take them on the Wake the Devil trip here in AZ, and they performed very well. The feedback they provided during cornering was excellent, what I can only describe as being really smooth when approaching the adhesion limits.

Time will tell on how long they last. Might go 255 on the rear next time.
