Found a nail in the dirvers rear tire and just had it replaced with a new one earlier today. Id say the tires have roughly 4-5k miles on them and now one of the rear tires is new and it pulls like the air pressure was low under throttle. Any ideas why the car now pulls to the left under acceleration with the new tire as it did not previously? Both tires say outside on the sidewalls which are mounted on the outside but the tread patterns do not appear to face the same.

They are Michelin Pilot Super sport 265 35 18 on the rear and 225 40 18 on front and the car was perfect before the replacement tire.

different tread depths on opposite sides of the car can cause a pull. The worn tire is effectively changing the size, and effectively making one tire spin faster than the other. how much tread is left on the 4-5k tire?

You'll need to shave the new tire down to match the older one.

maybe, I dont know why one would want to shave off all the rubber you just paid for. How much tire is left on the other rear? Depending on that i would replace the other rear, and have that one as a spare or sell it.

Plenty of tread, maybe just keeping it as a spare is the best idea. I just hate how it pulls
