Newbie: Federal 595 RS-RR fitment
Hi,
My car has the original tires and I am planning to replace them with Federal 595 RS-RR since I won't be driving this car as much. The car is all stock, stock suspension, no fender roll, and stock rims. RS-RR is running approximately 10mm wider. Would I be able to fit 225/45 and 255/40 which approximately equal to 235 and 265 without any rubbing? Thank you!

Have Federal 595RSR 225/255 on mine lowered 25-30mm no arch work with no issues.

FWIW the 235/40r17 is almost exactly the same size as a 245/40r17 Pilot Super Sport, actually has a slightly wider tread width if you assume all the manufacture's measurements are correct. Apparently the 255s are huge. Here's a set on a 17x9.5in wheel:
