Default Newbie S2K Owner Need help on a staggered set

Hi, I've been looking to get an s2k since 2009 and my time has finally come to own one. Since I already have another lowered car for a daily, I plan not to lower the S2k nor do fender mods.

I spent time reading the wheel fitment guide on this forum and I'd like to ask what the most effective/popular aftermarket staggered setup is. I've can calculate the offsets on any of these setups so its not an issue.

Is it 17x7/17x8.5(stock) or 17x7.5/17x8.5 or 17x7.5/17x9? I plan not to go beyond 7.5 front/ 9 back because I don't like stretched tires. Staying with 215/245 or 225/255 but again, not sure of pros and cons here.

Thanks in advance.

Stay with a stock set of ap2 rims either v1/v2/v3 if don't plan on modding or lowering. That would be the easiest and most cost effective.

See if the Enkei PF01 is to your liking. You can run the PF01 17x8 +50 up front and the PF01 SS 17x9 +60 out back. You can match them with a 215/45 front and 245/40 or 255/40 back without issues. If you like the dish look all around Enkei makes the PF01 SS in 17x8 +50 as well The Advan RSII and Volk CE28 are very nice and come in S2000 safe offsets but are a lot more money. Good luck with your purchase and post some pics when you get them installed.

Safest aftermarket will be the S2000 spec volks. The Enkei's mentioned above are another good option. I would agree that AP2 wheels would be your most cost effective and safest considering they are the exact sizes you want and would cost far less than any aftermarket option you find either new or used.
