merckx racer

I've found 6mm spacer and now 12mm spacer....my fenders have clearance and don't need
to be rolled...for the 6mm my current lugnuts will work just fine and for the 12mm spacer I found
a shop that has extended lugs that will work.
To me?
I'm almost inclined to just order some new OZ's with 17x7" and 48mm offset to get
close to OEM instead of spacing out my rears to fit my wider than usual fronts...
I feel the wider stance just takes away from the ability of the stock suspension!
