As soon as you start thinking about lowering the suspension though in the future with these size wheels, you will have to consider rolling fenders because the tire wont have the opportunity to camber in and clear the fender lip before it hits.
I'm curious about this, so what if i want to run 7.5 +40 square, isn't that essentially the same thing as 9 +60 square? the only difference will be inner clearance and ground contact right? Thanks

As far as how far out the rim protrudes from the fender, yes this is correct. However that would be a terrible set up running a 215 square, which is what you will be stuck with to maintain the same tire profile/clearance as how a 245 sits on a 9" wide wheel. Depending on the tire brand you might be ok with a 225, but that's still shitty.

Ahhhh i see i see, I am not running this setup, that was just a hypothetical situation lol. I am thinking about running 7.5+40 8.5+40 with stock tire size tho. Saw a guy running this setup with a light drop on coiloivers, no fender mods, looks really good. Thoughts?

That fitment needs rolled fenders IMO but I have seen a number of messed up fenders because a tire catching.

which specs would be the limit for stock height?

im thrinking 17 or 18 and seems like 8 wide front and 9 wide rear is pretty popular but im still confused about how to get the right offset
i would like to have it exactly even with the fender because i want to have the tire of same width as the rim i dont like the stanced or stretched tire look

so for example a 17x9 in the rear what offset would be best to make it even with the fender?
ive been looking over pictures and threads but its hard to judge from pictures sometimes

What you want/should have to fit may be different then what's available in the wheel you want. But in general for a flush fit without rolling fenders, for a 8/9" wide staggered wheel you need to shop in the +50-60 offset range. The 10mm discrepancy can be made up in camber alignment. 225/255 would be the tire widths you want for those rim widths to get a square/balanced profile on the sidewall, not pooched and not stretched. If you roll your fenders you can up size to a wider wheel and or same widths but gain some clearance to run more aggressive offsets in the +35-45 range, which a more verity of wheels seem to come in.
