Plea to wheel mfg everywhere...
Pleeeeeease make more wheels in 10j +40-45 that are actually 5x114.3 that aren't $3500 shipped per set.
There are maybe 2 that I'm aware of in this size, and one is crazy cost prohibitive.
Rant done, just getting frustrated

If you can get them to make dual drill 5x114.3 with 5x120, you'd be in luck. They'd actually have more of a market than S2000s C6 Z06 rears are 18x10.5 +55 I think and c4 vette has like 17x10 +50 I think. Same goes for some BMW rims.

Either honestly. Prefer 17 for 1pc, and 18 for 3pc.
Well sure, but I would never want to redrill or customize anything. I'm looking for off the shelf in the above specs.

Yeah, I seriously just want a 17x10 in something more like +44 to +50 (a +40 in 10" would be like a 17x9 with something like +35 or so, not friendly enough for fenders)that will clear the StopTech ST40 caliper at the very least. I don't give a shit about concave and super deepdish lips. I want on track performance.
If you look at all of the major sports cars that run decent laptimes at the ring (458, Z06, ZR1, GTR, GT3, GT2 etc. etc.) they all have rather flat faced front wheels to clear the massive 6 to 8 piston calipers that they're running - performance and function over form.
Of course, I don't want them to look ugly as sin the way the NT03+M looks in 17" - the convex face is terrible. If it was just plain flat it would pass - the 18"s look nice but won't clear jack for brakes due to the lame concave design.
$1500-$1700 is reasonably priced too. after that, you might as well start looking at CCWs, Volks, BBS.

I agree. A 17x10 +47-50 would be perfect for me. And like others have said that size would work for the Corvette crowd too as they run similar higher offsets. I wouldn't be hard at all to dual-drill the wheel. I'd like to see something that was decent look too though and under $1700.
Honestly I'd settle for a 17x9.5 in the same size/offset and there aren't a lot of good options for those either.
