Question RPF1 Stock suspension with RE71R

Hi guys! Im going to do some autox events this year and am very wary of rolling fenders on my AP1 S2K. To retain my class I am looking to do a 225 front and a 245 rear with stock suspension and RE71Rs on RPF1 with a +45 offset 17x8 front and 17x9 rear. I know there are many hypotheticals but does anyone run this setup without any rubbing?

what width?

Are these the black 17x8 and 17x9 +45 that are FS on Facebook RN?

We do need wheel widths but going to assume you mean the normal 17x8 and 17x9's. I would roll the fender given your application. Hard cornering is when more aggressive setups can rub and catch. You could maybe be ok with just doing the fronts since you are staying at stock height and its because the fronts turn that make them more at risk for issues. The rear may rub and be more audible but there is much less of a chance for damage to the car and usually trimming the bumper or relocating the tab can solve a lot of it. Lowered is a different story.

If wary (not weary!) of rolling fenders, why get +45 offset wheels? You could run PF01 17x 8 +50 up front and PF01SS 17x9 +60 in back and run 225/255 with no worries, or run the 17x9 +60 all around with 245/255.

Are those offsets available in this wheel? Just curious. (I pulled the RPF1 wheels the last owner put on my car and fitted OEM wheels.)

No Im going to buy them from a buddy that works at discount tire. They are the 17x8 and 17x9 +45 though

Thanks for your advice! Im wondering if anyone has ever ran this exact setup on stock suspension I've never seen a thread about it. Yes it would be the normal 17x8 and 17x9. I love the way RPF1s look (and how much they cost) but Im seriously considering another wheel with a higher offset I don't have to mess with fenders or bumper tabs.

Thank you for the correction. I love the look of the PF01 but its 2lbs heavier per wheel and at that weight I might as well just buy AP2V1 wheels and throw RE71rs on them. Is their a good looking wheel thats inexpensive and as little weight as the RPF1?

People are winning national championships with PF01's. Nothing wrong with these and forget about 2lbs ..

PF01s are still lighter than the OEM wheels.
