I'm pretty sure I could have gotten $1,000, but I didn't want to go through the hassle of a tougher sale. I sold them a few houses down to my neighbor who has been through what must be dozens of wheels, and he sold them a couple weeks later likely for around the same or a little more.

The tires on them while matching original Star Specs, were fairly worn. I'd have kept them or raised the price with newer tires with good tread undoubtedly, so I sold them for the same price I'd have sold without any tires at all. Ended up spending the $850 on a set of AP2V3's (regular silver) in nearly as nice of shape with UHP all season tires that had barely been used I'm running as my winter set since I already have a summer setup with lighter-weight aftermarket, inch wider front wheels and half inch wider rears for 225/255.

Imo $1,300 is too much to pay for OEM wheels of any kind for the S2000, you're getting into the low end (mainly used) range for some nicer aftermarket wheels for that price range, especially if you are willing to roll fenders.

I got the set for just under 1k, I guess it wasn't a bad deal but maybe not the best. When I bought my s2000 early this year it had brand new continental dws on it. I felt bad getting rid of them on throwing summer tires on the there. The plan is to have the cr wheels with dedicated summer tires with either the Bridgestone s04 or Dunlop star specs.

Anything under $1,000 for just the wheels, if they're in nice shape, you did ok. You should be able to resell just the wheels for $1,000 should you decide. If you're looking for the deal I gave, you'd have had to search for a while and find something locally.

Also I have been running the ZII Star Specs as summer tires, they are super grippy. If you don't need something quite as grippy, the S04s are a great option though and probably more preferred for just the street, aside from very spirited driving where the extra grip of the ZII * is nice.

I have Michelin PSS on my 15 WRX, they are awesome tires. I really wanted to get the 225/255 size though, if I end up going with the 215/245 I'll get the PSS. A lot of people recommended the star specs if I go with the bigger size I'll take a serious look at them.
