Way to general of a question. Go do some research on your own and then ask about specific widths and offsets. The answer changes depending on the width of the wheel. Generally speaking you gain about 15mm of clearance.
Also there is no reason to quote the entire first post. It's annoying. I fixed it for you.

Would 15 mm be enough for 245s all around? I know the offsets are the difficult part for the S2000 so I would like your help if possible for the below scenarios:
225 front 245 rears, what should be the offset?
245s all around,offsets?
Thanks.

9" +45 for 245 non-staggered. I would not run any lower offset or you will have issues in front.

No hurt feelings you are just asking a very general question. You can run 225 245 without rolling the fenders by sticking to the oem ap2 wishes and offsets. As Nate stated you could also run 225 255 with oem offsets and not roll the fenders. for 245 all around you need a high offset front and rear to not roll the fenders. Many run 17x9 +63 all around with a 245 and do t roll their fenders. I will say if you lower the car you will likely need to roll the front.
Now if you want lower offsets like in the +40 to 50 range you will need to roll them and relocate the rear tab. This is the safe fitment range for just needing a fender roll (on either 8 on 9 inch wide wheels). Once you dip below +40 is where you start running into trouble with the wheels fitting with proper camber and tires. I hope that helps. Read the wheel fitment guide and look through the gallery at the official wheel threads. That should help you better understand the variables.

Thanks OP. Ordered new rpf1s 17x9+45 with 245 z2 all around. Looked impossible. But after all said and done with -3 all around, fits like a glove!

Yes lowered, think it was 22.5" from the bottom of the wheel lip to the fender arches.
Pretty sure I can get away with a little less camber but I don't mind -3 all around feels great square set up with eibach front bar fill stiff.
