Swift SPEC-R Wheel Fitment

Hello all!
My name is Jake. I just recently purchased my first S2000. I got her 95% stock with 65k miles.
I just purchased a set of Swift SPEC-R springs and wil be pairing them with my stock OEM struts.
I was wondering what kind of wheel specifications I can get away with. I came from the Subaru community and know little to nothing about wheel fitment on S2000's.

From what I've been reading:
17x8 +45 [FRONT]
17x9 +45 [REAR]

I don't mind rolling the fenders if I have to, but I would like a more track style look. Can anyone give some pointers and maybe drop a few pictures of what kind of wheel/tire sizes are good with a 1.2 inch drop in the front and rear?

Congrats on the new S! You will want to roll your fenders and qp's for a more aggressive fitment. I have 17x10 +44 Ce28's for sale (sales pitch :p). However this setup is really aggressive and will be the maximum width and offset you will be able to run on a stock body with rolled fenders. Here's a pic of my car on similar spec 17x10 +45 square setup 255/40 with swift spec r springs on CR struts

For those wheel specs rolling fenders is required especially with any sort of drop. Looks wise they will look good once it is all done definitely better than on oem 16's which look really dated by todays standards.

That setup is absolutely GNARLY! That is exactly what I want mine to look like when its all said and done. What kind of tires are those?

Do you think a 17x9 +45 squared is a solid setup? I would still roll my fenders. Maybe put some 245/40 on there.

This is 17x9 +45 with 255/40 Falken RT615K+.

But I'm lower than 1.2" from stock.

Looks really good man! Is there any difference with fitment when comparing an AP1 and AP2?

TsukubaCody 10-24-2018 05:25 AM

Based on reading here, not from what I can see.

BUT I can't say that as fact.

Warning, both of my setups require light pulling in front, even with -2.5* camber.

No fitment difference between ap1 and ap2. Fenders and quarter panels are the same across all models.
