I only felt the bouncing thing on one road surface but I will look where you advise, and report back.
Where did you feel it? I am from the twin cities and can tell you that 169 on the south end near Canterbury, for example, has some undulations that you really notice in the S2k. I think they happen to match the wheelbase in such a way that you get that sensation. I am on a very stiff setup compared to your stock setup so it is likely worse for me, but I do notice it.

Nice ride by the way. A local autocrosser just picked up a very similar one a couple of weeks ago from a dealer in Brooklyn Park.

For tires, as others said, I would not worry about it until you are ready to pick up new tires. Just be aware of what type of tire they are and the weather you drive them in. If they are the Potenza RE-71R on one end, those are summer tires and are VERY grippy in the warm, but are not good at all down near freezing of course (I autocrossed on mine while it was snowing last Sunday :P )

I thought it was 494 south of 394 but it may have been 169.

I would have enjoyed going through the fluids myself but life and work are getting in the way, so I had OHV motors take care of starting a baselining for some of them today.

After all the advice here I’m just going to wait till spring and get new tires all around, and an alignment.

There are lots of different Bridgestones of different models and sizes that have those names.

Tires are the most important single factor in ride and handling. The current best tire is the Michelin P4S, which supersedes the Michelin Pilot Super Sport which reigned for 6 years. Depending on your budget and intended use, tires should be first on your shopping list.

Note that the P4S is a street tire. Not the first (or for that matter 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.) choice for track days, time trials, or autocrosses.

For street use, there are some high-performance tires that are 40% less than the P4S. They aren't as good but better than the combo you have. For example, there is the Sumitomo HTR Z III. It won its first Tire Rack test in 2007, finished 2nd in 2011. The P4S was new in 2017. IMHO an extra $300 well spent.

Note, both TireRack and Costco have a promotion on the P4S now.
