whats up s2ki, just wanted to get some advice/opinions on tires. they will be on PF01ss 17x8 +50 in the front and 17x9 +60 in the rear. i was thinking 245 to 255 40 17 in the front and 265 to 275 40 17 in the rear. i want to run a street tire, no radials or competition type tires since this is a street car. the car makes 618/404 and i'd like it to hook 100% from 40mph onward, any tire suggestions for that size in the rear? also i know a lot of companies only make tires up to a 255 40 17, will that hook for me?? any and all opinions welcome as i dont know much about tires... thanks in advance!

You could go for a set of 245/40R17 front and 275/40R17 rear continental extreme contact dw tires. I have them in stock sizes and love them. They are great in both dry and wet as well as wearing well. They have in my experience been able to handle spirited drives well and also seem to wear nicely. With your amount of power, I would probably look at the extreme performance category of tires though to be honest. I don't know sixes off the top of my head, but you could look at something like the re-11a since it seems to be a great street driving tire as well as have the extra traction needed for track driving. If you are set on getting something more geared towards street driving, then continentals have treated me great.
