Default Tire size advice Advan RG

It's time for some new set of tires!

Looking for tire size setup for an AP2, lowered on coils, front 17 7.5 +48 and rear 17 8.5 +50, fenders rolled with rear tab relocated.

Should I stay with oem F 215/45 R 245/40, or go bigger F 225/45 R 255/40? Or stick with F 225/45 R 245/40 (came in these size when I bought them)

Any other recommendations?

Well you have fender room to go with 225/255 stagger, however the rim widths are a bit on the narrow side so the tires will be a little pinched and not handle quite as sharp, but still within minimum spec. If you don't care about maximizing the contact patch, the stock 215/245 stagger would have a better tire shape/profile on these wheels. Either way, I wouldn't do 225/245 due to your rim width stagger and overall tire diameter difference between the two. Doing a CR 215/255 stagger would be fine though.

215/45-17 fronts with 245/40-17 rears (OEM AP2)
or 215/45-17 fronts with 255/40-17 rears (OEM CR),
or 225/45-17 fronts with 255/40-17 rears (225 a good fit on 7.5" up front)

255/40 is slightly pinched on 8.5" wheel, but not too bad and hell it was the CR OEM fitment anyway...

Could also go 225/45-17 fronts with 245/40-17 rears, but gives a slight "big front tires/little rear tires" look...
