Does anyone know of a sensor that comes in black? My CE28s are Diamond Black, and I really don't want to have a bright silver stem sticking out of them.

After having star specs for a year & half on CE28N with the OEM Honda TPMS sensors on my 08 car, it was time for new tires. I just had these tires installed with 0 issues. The TPMS light never turn on and I drove 100 miles that day after getting them installed. The tires were installed by a tire rack installer in my area.
These are cell phone images.
Also, My TPMS sensors are not mounted with any kind of tape with these wheels.

Flipped through this thread real quick and thought I would add my 2 cents as far as tpms systems are concerned. I dont have the system on my s, but I spent the last several years of my life working for Discount Tire and delt with all of the systems on a daily basis. We could usually find a way to get the stocks sensors to work for any brand on any type of wheel. Sometimes we would turn them around, or we could install them in a band inside the wheel if we really needed to. But the best solution is generally to by the aftermarket schrader rubber stem sensors. They are smaller, and much more flexible for fitting into tough wheels. They were about fifty bucks a peice if I remember right. Also, every Discount Tire store has a tpms tool that they will use to relearn anyones sensors for free. If you have your car serviced there, its part of the standard procedure. And I often would do resets for anyone who pulled up to the store. Might be worth looking into if you dont want to spend a ton of money for your own tool.

VT55 OBDII TPMS diagnostic tool. The best way to turn the tire warning light OFF !
On top of the US manufactured vehicles, the ATEQ VT55 reprograms Asian or European vehicles (including Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Mitsubishi, etc) which do not feature a TPMS self reprogramming software.
VT55 OBDII kit includes a universal OBD connector which connects to the vehicle ECU via CANbus and K-line.
Tecnicians only need to select the make of the vehicle and press the START button. It is that easy and fast to accurately activate and decode TPMS sensors and display their data or any faults they may have.
